BASF steps up its measures against patent infringements in the photoinitiator business

BASF is taking firm steps to stop the distribution of counterfeit versions of its Irgacure® 819 photoinitiator product. After repeatedly issuing notifications, BASF has contacted distributors identified as offering counterfeit Irgacure 819 products for sale and legally insisted that they cease marketing and selling these products.

BASF unveils innovative raw materials for architectural coatings at the European Coatings Show

Architectural coatings need to be easy to apply but tough enough to stick to buildings and other exterior surfaces through every kind of weather, without fading or falling off. They must be attractive and meet sustainable requirements i.e. be free of VOCs and of APEO’s (alkylphenol ethoxylates) and fulfill the environmental regulations defined by several Eco-labels. BASF has the expertise and experience to develop advanced raw materials for architectural coating products that meet all these requirements.

BASF unveils an industry-specific portfolio at the European Coatings Show

On 19‒21 March, BASF will be presenting many different products and services at the European Coatings Show 2013 (ECS) in Nuremberg. At stand 523 in hall 7A, experts from BASF and BTC, the distribution organization of BASF in Europe, provide information on their range of innovative resins, additives, dispersions, pigments, pigment preparations, specialty monomers and specialty vinyl monomers.
